Robert Young

I have been riding since the age of 15 and spent three years in England at the Fulmer School of Equitation, of Robert Hall, DBHS, from 1972 – 1975. I obtained the BHSAI in 1972 and became Stable Manager of the Yorkshire Branch 1972-1974.

Since that time I have been involved with the training of horses and riders, and the bureaucracy of horse sport at the Local, Provincial and National level, in Canada.

Founding member of the Alberta Hunter Horse Society; founding member and past President of the Parkland Area Alberta Dressage Association; founding member and past President of the Alberta Dressage Association; founding member of Dressage Canada.

Past President of the Alberta Equestrian Federation; member of the Executive Committee of Equine Canada.

Twenty years as an Examiner of Canadian Pony Club with five years as Senior National Examiner.

Instructor of Provincial, Regional and National Champion Riders.

Trainer of horses and riders in disciplines of Dressage, Eventing and Jumping.

Trainer of horses in Western Disciplines and Instructor of side-saddle.

Former breeder of Sport Horses.
